I see Warmth / In Language is a two-part installation exploring the physical and emotional dimensions of language.
I see Warmth consists of a red heat lamp, mounted high in the corner of the space. Its light shines downward, creating a focused area of warmth. This gesture invites the viewer into a moment of presence – offering comfort, but also suggesting the possibility of overexposure. Like language, it can connect or overwhelm.
In Language is a two part steel structure holding beeswax-coated paper pages. These pages fan out into the room, fragile and translucent. Each sheet contains incomplete phrases, scattered thoughts. Remnants of a once continuous flow of words, now disassembled and open to new connections.
